MCCLV'er and Choir Member Jazmin Caicedo is collecting items for Haitian Relief efforts for
her school, the Lincoln Leadership Academy in Allentown. Classes at the school are working together to help the children of
"Rescue the Children Orphanage" and their community in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. They are looking for donations of things like
oatmeal, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, bandages, gauze, hydrogen peroxide, bug spray, mosquito nets, PediaSure, aspirin,
Tylenol, disposable face masks, quinine tablets, gloves, asthma pumps, garbage bags, hand sanitizer, antibacterial products
like Bacitracin, hand soap, chewing gum, candy, liquid alcohol and pads, bandages and powdered milk. They cannot accept
metal cans, clothes or heavy items at this time. A box will be available in MCCLV's Fellowship Hall to drop off items.

Freedom to Marry Service Reception Needs Your Help! As always, MCCLV will host a reception
following the Freedom to Marry Service on February 13th. Because of the growing attendance and the logistics involved with
putting on a full dinner, this year MCCLV will serve abundant hors d'oeuvres. The Hospitality Ministry is asking MCCLV
congregants to bring "finger food" to the event to share with others. A sign-up list and suggestions for food items is in
the Fellowship Hall. Please help MCCLV make this, our 10th anniversary of the Freedom to Marry Service, a very special
event and sign up to bring an hors d'oeuvre. Contact Karl Steiner or
Jen Kelley if you have any questions or wish to volunteer to help.
